StrikePoints is operated by StrikePoints LLC, the data controller for personal data collected through the Service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

2. Information We Collect

• Account info: email, display name, optional avatar.
• Catch data: lake, species, weight, length, photos, notes, GPS coordinates you choose to save, and weather conditions at catch time.
• Game plans: the inputs you submit and resulting plans.
• Submission data: when you submit a catch to be featured, the photo, caption, and social handles you provide.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP, timestamp, user agent) for security and debugging.

3. How We Use It

• Operate and improve the Service
• Generate personalized game plans and pattern analysis
• Send transactional emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset)
• Review and post submitted catches to StrikePoints social media (only with your consent)
• Detect abuse and protect the integrity of the Service

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) under contract
• Weather and mapping data providers (anonymized location queries only)
• Stripe, Inc., our payment processor, for processing payments, managing subscriptions, calculating sales tax, issuing receipts, and handling refunds and chargebacks
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary
• Authorities, when required by law

5. Featured Submissions

If you submit a catch via "Submit to StrikePoints," your photo, caption, and any social handle you provide may be posted publicly on our Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook accounts after admin review. You can request removal anytime by emailing hello@strikepoints.app.

6. Your Rights

You can access, update, or delete your account data at any time. Email us to request a full export or permanent deletion. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you may have additional rights.

7. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Deleted accounts are removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security: encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level access controls, and secure credential storage. No system is 100% secure — please use a strong unique password.

9. Children

StrikePoints is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
